ELARA
Cutlass for Hire
ABOUT
Elara is a mercenary hired by the Trade Federation to join the Stormbringer Project.

Coming from a maritime background, Elara is comfortable on ships, but insists she left that life behind for a reason. A classic mercenary, she spends every coin she earns and lives life like it was her last day.
Elara serves as the parties muscle with a specialism on maritime affairs.
Resource wise, Elara has a unifying colour of blue. This is shared across both her 'kitted up for war' and her 'drinking modes'. She shares this colour with Danton, which helps mark them as a duo who come as a pair.

I haven't done two distinct looks for all the companions, but in Elara's case I think it works well.
SNEAK PEAK
February 8
Whilst brawlers of a mercenary nature are two a penny in Caspia, Elara came to my attention for a number of reasons.

1. She comes from a maritime background, which will undoubtedly serve the Alchemist well on the voyage to the Eye of the Storm.

2. She has sufficient criminal contacts to ease the parties travel through lawless territory.

3. Her partnership with the fallen ranger Danton. Whose skills I believe will be invaluable in navigating the Besotted Forest.

I have instructed company officials to reach out to Elara and make an offer that she can't refuse.
February 9
Company executives will be pleased to know that Elara has joined the Stormbringer project.

I am delighted to say that the woman is more shrewd than we had imagined. The inexperienced negotiator offered her more gold than she would have made in a year. The mercenary refused it on the spot, before almost immediately starting a bar fight.

After dragging the official on a bar crawl across Caspia, the official thoroughly traumatised from countless fights and endless shots agreed to:

1. double the original gold price, paid 3/4 in advance, 1/4 on completion.

2. Commission of a cutlass from the finest blacksmith in Caspia.

3. A dozen crates of rum.

4. Medical insurance for a year.

Whilst Company executives will be rightly concerned for the Company Coffers, I can wholeheartedly say that this outragous display of audaciousness only shows that the Company has commissioned the right brigand for the job.
